International Women’s Day 2020

Every year sees 8th March celebrated as International Women’s Day, which recognises women across the world for their achievements and careers.
To mark the occasion, Owlstone Medical shared stories from across our organisation, including videos, interviews and social media posts.
Our stories includes a discussion with Mechanical Engineer Steph Rowan about her role in the development of the new CASPER and interviews with Olga Gandelman and Tracey Best, Biomarker Discovery Lead and Head of Systems and Mechanical respectively. We also have videos from Analytical Chemist Tilly Woodland, highlighting how she decided on a career in chemistry and Experimental Engineer Sarah Owens who describes her chosen career and the support she has received from Owlstone.
Within the last 12 months I have helped build the foundations to develop the test team and we now have an exciting and diverse pipeline of work. Owlstone Medical is a very dynamic environment and it is somewhere where I feel I thrive.
