Sample Report - hydrogen methane HMBT Test for SIBO

This particular sample report is an example of the kind of report you would recieve if your patient had completed a hydrogen and methane breath test (HMBT) to assess for small intestinal bacterial overgrowth (SIBO). In this case the patient has tested positive for SIBO, with their test results compared to relevant diagnostic guidelines (both UK and NAC), in order to provide the most reliable outcomes.

If you’re in the UK and would like to refer your patients for HMBT for SIBO or carbohydrate malabsorption, at a cost within the NHS tariff, please get in touch with our expert team.
