The European Respiratory Society (ERS) Congress 2024 spans five days and will be held in Vienna this September. To address the increasing use of Artificial Intelligence in medicine including pneumatology, the theme of the conference will be: Humans and Machines: getting the balance right

This means that priority topics will include the role of AI-assisted medical care, the changing role of doctor-patient relationships in light of technological developments and how healthcare systems and organisational pathways may be affected.
