ISAPP 2024 General Meeting

We will be attending and presenting at the ISAPP 2024 General Meeting this summer.
ISAPP’s annual meeting sees scientific research and progress in the fields of probiotics, prebiotics, synbiotics, postbiotics, fermented foods, and microbiomes shared among the community. An international group of top researchers, key opinion leaders, industry scientists, and students come together to share developments and discuss challengest to the future of the field.
The meeting program features plenary speakers sharing cutting-edge research, including Prof. Catherine O’Neill PhD (The University of Manchester) presenting on the gut-skin axis, Prof. Aki Sinkkonen PhD (University of Helsinki) on delivery of probiotics to humans through soil-based interventions, and Prof. KC Huang PhD (Stanford University) speaking about gastrointestinal sensor technologies.
Elena Piscitelli
Elena is a Business Development Executive at Owlstone Medical, specializing in working with and supporting academic researchers across Europe and the Rest of the World (excluding the Americas and Canada). Her focus lies in assisting researchers who are exploring the integration of Owlstone’s cutting-edge breath technology into their research endeavours. With a Bachelor’s degree in genetics, Elena brings a robust foundation to her role, which has been further enriched by an industrial placement year in the Rare Disease team at Pfizer.
