Owlstone Medical’s ReCIVA Breath Sampler is being featured at London’s Science Museum. ReCIVA will be on display in the Tomorrow’s World Gallery from 18th August till the end of December 2017. Entry to the exhibition is free.
ReCIVA is part of the Breath Biopsy® Platform, which seeks to allow non-invasive diagnosis of infectious diseases, inflammatory disease and cancer by capturing and analysing volatile organic compounds (VOCs) in exhaled breath. Analysis of VOCs in breath offers a way to diagnose diseases like cancer earlier, making more treatment options are available to patients, which improves survival rates. Owlstone Medical’s mission is to save 100,000 lives and $1.5 billion in healthcare costs.
