The webinar will delve into recent advancements in human breath sample collection and analysis, spotlighting Owlstone Medical’s Breath Biopsy® OMNI® platform, which offers targeted and untargeted analysis of volatile organic compounds (VOCs) for biomarker discovery. Additionally, advancements in the development of a Breath Biopsy VOC Atlas will be presented, featuring a searchable database of VOCs identified with high confidence, alongside quantitative measurements from previous human studies, facilitating in silico cross-validation of results and accelerating biomarker development. This resource also provides links to peer-reviewed literature for individual VOCs, aiding in the further elucidation of the relationship between VOCs, biology, and human disease.
